Verse 1: Prologue

Now, life here no longer belongs to the individual. There is no way to savor it, no way to enjoy it, no way to protect it.

I have lost my place in this world as of late.

Unstable were the foundations of my life. Even the smallest tumor could cause the building to collapse, but I was no different from the multitudes of people who have suffered from the war- the war that cursed this once grand nation of Aequalis, the once only utopia of all Mundus.

A mere two years ago, our enemy nation Orcus invaded Aequalis without warning. They began at the north-eastern shore of Aequalis, slowly devouring each and every village in their path as they continued towards the capital city of Aetus in the far Midwest.

Their preemptive attack only secured their victory. None of our forces could stop their advancement.

We believed that The Grand Force of Aequalis, the highest skilled warriors on the continent, almost godlike, who served under our Good King, would be able to defend its country from attack, but the Holy Week was upon us, a sacred but vulnerable time for all of Aequalis, where sinners are to repent for all sins they have committed in hopes that our deity Aether would accept them into Paradise. The army of Orcus quickly annihilated The Grand Force soon after their invasion of the holy Mt. Caelum, located in the center of Aequalis, where The Grand Force was meditating shortly before the beginning of the Holy Week.

After their demise, the Orcurian forces proceeded to the capital, and the government was overthrown and was replaced with an aristocracy with the Orcurian Three, which is composed of three high-ranking military officers from the opposing country who lead the forces into Mt. Caelum, as the leaders. The leader of the Orcurian Three is General of the Army Raine Domminui, the youngest and most brash of the group and the most handsome; he extremely skilled in archery, leading the Orcurian forces with an iron fist in one hand and a bow in his other hand. He is relentless on his enemies and on his men, showing no mercy to anyone. Following his supremacy is Brigadier General Lan Shue, an albino and one of the most cunning, intelligent, and powerful in all of Orcus. He is regarded highly for his skills in fencing. The third member is Colonel Annalise Verpon, a beautiful and clever woman known for her sorcery and specialty in White Magic. Together, they form the most powerful combination of skill and intellect the world has ever seen in millenias.

The demise of the Aequalian Empire took place August 7, 596 Anno Della Rinascita.

Shortly after, the citizens of Aequalis received word from the Orcurian Three leader that the Royal Family has taken its own life.

Many rebellions have since taken place, but none have come even close of succeeding.

And thus the citizens of Aequalis have lost hope.
